Team Champions)
The Nashoba Valley Ski Club (NVSC) is a member of the Eastern Massachusetts Buddy Werner League
(EMBWL). The membership of EMBWL also includes Bradford,
Bogastow,
Prospect Hill, and Ski
Ward.
NVSC is a youth alpine race club that provides skiers
from grades 1-12 the opportunity to train and compete
in slalom and giant slalom races against racers from
other regional teams. No prior race experience is
required; however, all team members must be able to
ride the ski lifts unassisted with other racers and
ski all terrain at Nashoba Valley safely and with a
degree of comfort. NVSC is a learn-to-race program,
not a learn-to-ski program.
We are an independent, non-profit, parent run race
club that functions separately from the operations of
the Nashoba Valley Ski Area. All parents/guardians are
required to work at two or more races during the
season, assisting in race logistics and other
operational needs. No experience is necessary and it’s
a great way to see how races are run.
Our goal is to improve the ski racing skills of our
members. While the development of life-long skiing
skills and competition is encouraged, the main
emphasis is on a fun, safe, and positive experience
for all. Practices are held on Thursday evenings at
Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford and races take
place on Sunday mornings at Nashoba and other
league-member ski areas.
Registration begins
in October - sign up here
to get important updates via email. Find
out more about NVSC.
We look forward to seeing you
all on the slopes and don’t forget to ski fast, ski
hard, and have fun!
